By The Way

I have a new kitten.

In keeping with my naming structure of videogame characters (Ser Pounce-a-lot), I have named her Zelda.

She is the preciousest thing ever. XD

Reblog if you want someone to compare you to a Disney character in your ask!

I’m curious to see what you non-Disney fandom people will come up with…

Sure why not?

It's not 'neutrality' when your baseline is slanted.

impressioniste:

In regard to statements that Elthina tried to maintain neutrality to keep peace in Dragon Age II:

Grand Cleric Elthina is not neutral.

She’s a supporter of the status quo. When the status quo is slanted in favor of one group, maintaining that ‘balance’ maintains inequality. Maintaining ‘neutrality’ towards an unfair policy is maintaining unfairness.

It is not neutrality. It is favoritism. It’s a socially-acceptable form of inequality and discrimination, based on an illusion of neutrality and fairness.

If maintaining an unequal system of favoritism is the only way to keep peace in your society, maybe that is a problem that needs to be addressed. And maybe it needs to be addressed more often than once every thousand years or so, with input from more than just one side. Allowing any system to self-maintain over long periods of time without any checks/balances is just asking for trouble.

blight ended in 9:30, events of dragon age 2 ended in 9:37. so a year after the chantry went boom, 8 years after the blight.

Huh. So the Blight ends and starts in 9:30? I headcanon that Nida took at least a year and a half to end the Blight because I wasn’t sure, marking the death of the Archdemon and the beginning of Awakening at 9:32.

Errant-knight mentioned it was ten years after Alistair’s coronation but you say 8 years after the Blight; Alistair would have been crowned after the blight so now I am utterly confused DX

How old is Alistair supposed to be in canon?

kakumei:

Has that been established?

I feel like he may be robbing the cradle just a little bit with my Warden. And I’m okay with that.

Ahh, that’s the age-old question. *badumchaaaang*

It depends on whether you believe the Fiona theory or not. I headcanon him at age 22.
