Thank you to vintage-murder for your kind words.
I decided to kill the meme.
I should’ve expected one response out of everyone who follows me here.
:c Dunno why they follow me.
Because this is relevant to a thing I might do, I decided to look up what we know about the game of Diamondback. According to the DA Wiki trivia on Oghren’s page, there is this bit of information:
The card game Diamondback mentioned in Oghren’s conversation with Alistair is a…

So… do you think Anders could do that thing Wynne did in the end of the
book? Or he didn’t merge with Justice as much as Wynne did with Faith? If
he did, do you think what had happened to Wynne would happen to him too? Or
it happened to Wynne because she was sort of undead?lol, do I even make sense? XD
SPOILERS FOR ASUNDER, I’M SERIOUS, DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MASSIVELY SPOILED.
I think that Wynne is able to do what she does because the Spirit of Faith that merged with her took her memories, but Wynne herself was actually dead. Cole, for example, was a spirit that absorbed the memories of the real Cole, and got confused as to its identity as a result. I think there’s a strong possibility that the Wynne we know and love is the Spirit of Faith merged with Wynne’s memories and aspects of her soul, confused into believing it’s still Wynne.
For Anders, it seems like there really was a true merger, though it’s possible the same deal happened with Justice (The spirit getting confused and thinking it’s the human), and what we see is just the slow deterioration of Anders’ personality/memories over time. If Anders were fully dead, then he might be able to purge Justice… but at the expense of his own life.
I’m not sure, though. This is all just speculation.
